Keyword Density
Keyword density is an important part of optimizing your content pages.
Search engines require a certain percentage of key words in your content and will rank your site accordingly. So what do we mean by keyword density?
Key word density is the percentage or density of key words in your content page. Simply put it is how many times you have used your keyword or phrase in your content page. This will also be how the search engines judge the relevancy of your page. Due to keyword spamming, like keyword stuffing and stacking. Search engines put less emphasis on this aspect of keyword relevancy than they used to.

How to optimize your content:
A quick way to optimize your content is to use isolation optimization. This is using one keyword or key phrase and then building your content theme around it. It should be used once in the title, once in the first paragraph and be used sparingly throughout your body text. Finally it will be used in the last paragraph.
Bolding keywords: Not proven but will do no harm to try blend bold keywords into your content. Be careful to make this look and sound correct. Variations of the root keyword: Here’s something to keep in mind, variations of the root keyword. For example speak, speaks and speaking, will all be considered by the search engine as one keyword.
Anchor text: Only use a variation once in the page and be sure your second link uses another variation of your keyword or phrase.

Do not indulge in keyword stuffing:
this is overuse of keywords and will get your site penalized or even banned. This will annoy visitors as well as search engines.
Your content must sound natural: Be careful how you insert keyword phrases and key words. The whole content must sound natural not stilted. Your visitors will get put off and leave if your content explained odd and certainly they will not buy from you.
Quick way to check density: make your keyword or key phrase in a different color and you will easily be able to spot check how often you used it when you proof read.
Rough but fairly accurate check: use software (most accurate) or one of these free websites. Put the web page URL and keyword or phrase to be checked. The tools below will tell you your page density.
